Chief Executive Officer
Tom has been in the Financial Services Industry for more than 25 years. He has an extensive background in financial planning and management. Tom has always had a passion for helping others and creating a better life for them. Whether he has done this for his own clients or for his advisors, he believes that teamwork is key. He has built the Centennial State Financial practice on core principles and values that he and the entire CSF group strongly believe in. He is a Colorado native and lives in Parker with his wife Marcy and their three children. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family, playing guitar, golfing, fly fishing, gardening, and enjoying the outdoors.
Chief Operations Officer
Steve is a graduate of Central College in Pell, IA and has been in the Financial Industry for 12 years. He held leadership roles with MetLife Annuity Operations before joining Centennial State Financial as the Chief Operations Officer. In his current role, Steve and his staff focus on adding value and resources to both internal and external clients by performing duties on new business processing, sales support, customer service, compliance, accounting and compensation, technology, on-boarding, and licensing. Steve lives in Colorado Springs with his wife Tara and four children.
Director of Sales & Development
Emil has been in the Financial Services industry since 2000 and has a diverse background in sales, compliance, operations, and field management. His experience helps him to look at client issues from different perspectives and to recommend the most appropriate advice and guidance. Emil is an integral part of our recruiting and mentoring process at CSF. He is always looking to add talented advisors to the firm as he continues to build his own practice. He grew up in the western suburbs of Denver and has always had a love for helping out in the community. He continues to enjoy the Colorado lifestyle, with his wife Joy and their four children.
CSF Brokerage Director
Linda Galay began her career in the Insurance and Financial Services industry in 1982. She spent the first half of her career working for Great-West Financial holding various management positions within the individual Insurance Operations division. She was the liaison in a new relationship between Great-West and Charles Schwab building and managing a call center with 30 agents in Denver by generated leads from the TV advertising media. For the past 15 years she was the VP of Sales and Marketing at Rocky Mountain Insurance Network with the responsibility of recruiting producers into the agency. She joined CSF in August of 2018. Parker Colorado has been her home for the past 20 years with her husband Don and their five children. Her hobbies include skiing, camping, hiking, golfing, cooking and long walks with her dog Buddy. She is also blessed with a grandson.
Agency Supervisory Officer
Rachel Sampl was born and raised an Ohio State Buckeye. Her passion to help her clients as a financial representative led her to pursue compliance within the industry. In 2016 she was employed with Synergy Wealth Solutions, a MassMutual Agency as their Agency Supervisory Officer Assistant. Ready to take on a department of her own, she moved to Colorado to become Agency Supervisory Officer at Centennial State financial. In her current role she is focused on creating transparency in compliance to help further agents relationships with their clients. She lives in Lone Tree with her husband Nick and their two boxers.
Firm Director of Strategic Communications
As Firm Director of Strategic Communications, Elizabeth leads marketing and communications efforts for Centennial State Financial. Her background includes work in corporate communications, issues management and public relations. Elizabeth holds a B.A. in Classics from Hamilton College and a master's degree in Political Management from George Washington University. She enjoys spending time with loved ones, particularly if it involves eating green chile.
Director of Culture
Jen Chyr is a proud Colorado native. Her role as Director of Culture is a perfect fit for her as she loves working with others. Prior to getting married and having children, Jen was a Financial Advisor. After marrying her beloved husband Corey and having Brody, Josephine “Jo” and Adelaide “Ads”, Jen found a new passion as a Fashion Buyer. She enjoys physical fitness and athletic activity, including watching her kids pursue their passions of baseball, equestrian riding and gymnastics. Jen is also very involved with her faith and teaches Faith Formation to 2nd graders.
Brandon is a Colorado native who has been in the financial services industry for 18 years. He has been a Sales and Service award winner multiple times. Brandon believes that building good relationships is crucial to his team’s success. His management style can best be described as high expectations of himself and his team, commitment to daily improvement, and an unyielding belief in those around him. Brandon is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley. Brandon also has a passion for community involvement and service. He has served on the board of directors at Denver, CASA and JK Mullen High School. Additionally, he served as chair of the Checkpoint Resource Group in Wells Fargo Bank and has done work for the John Lynch Foundation. Brandon and his wife Lori are the proud parents of their daughter Quinn.
Justin comes from an extensive family of financial planners with more than 100 years in the business. He has owned his own practice since 2013, and comes to Centennial State Financial from New York Life. While at New York Life he earned honors including Executive Council, Career Life Success Award, and Summit Qualifier. Justin loves to build extremely strong relationships with his clients, fellow associates, strategic allies and advisors. His winning environment is when he is competitively pushed and aligned with teammates who want to succeed. Justin is very active in the Colorado community and loves to spend time in this great state. He is active in the local Denver Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America and is an Eagle Scout with a Silver Palm. He sits on the board for the Tour De Cure for Diabetes and is extremely active in his church, Landmark Tabernacle. He enjoys spending time with his wife Lauren and their son, Hudson.
John began his insurance career fifteen years ago with Farmers Insurance, where he sold, recruited, and managed, qualifying for many company awards including Toppers Club and Championship. In 2013, John went into private practice, partnering with Ohio National where he earned honors including President’s Inner Circle and Council of Honor prior to joining Centennial State in 2018. A qualifier of the Million Dollar Round Table and Court of the Table, John’s practice specialty focuses on life insurance applications for business owners and professionals. An avid traveler, John also enjoys reading, tennis, and golf.
